Help Mugsy Cat pay his vet bills, please!

Hi gang — Any of you who know me know that asking for help in any way, shape, or form is pretty much the hardest thing in the world for me. I rarely ask for help for myself and never for financial help.

 

My cat Mugsy had a severe IDB flare-up over the weekend, which turned into an emergency situation requiring a stay at the Animal Medical Center of Seattle.

 

Mugsy is pretty much my best four-legged friend. When he was six years old, Mugsy came to me after the elderly couple he'd been living with passed away. He taught me how to play fetch with him (yeah, I was a slow learner), trained me how to make blanket forts in the morning after breakfast so we could have a proper cuddle, and forgave me when I didn't appreciate the giant flying cockroaches he delivered to me at bedtime. In short, I love the little fucker.

 

The awesome doctors at AMC are supporting him while he recovers from his IBD flare-up, but it just wiped me out financially.

 

After more than a year of unemployment during the beginning of covid, I no longer have much of a cushion for emergencies.

 

I hate asking for help but I'm asking: If you can spare a few bucks to help me help Mugsy, I'd greatly appreciate it.
