Love in Action: Help Muhammad's Family Get Back on Track

I’m Muhamed, a father of two daughters, living in Gaza and struggling to survive war, famine, and displacement. We lost our home and we were living in a tent.

My youngest daughter, just 6 years old, had open-heart surgery in Turkey. She needs ongoing medical care—care that’s impossible to get in Gaza. So we must evacuate from Gaza for our survival, but we cannot afford evacuation costs.

My life in detail:

The war has taken everything from us, our home, our livelihood, our security. I once worked as a software engineer for a U.S. company but with the destruction of basic infrastructure: electricity, internet, and even a safe workspace. I lost my job overnight. From being a provider for my family, I became a father struggling to secure the most basic needs: food, milk, water things that no child should ever have to go without.

Gaza is no longer a place fit for living. My family and I dream of a dignified life, a place where my children can grow up safely and dream without the constant fear of war. We have survived five wars. It is time to seek a new beginning.

I am here today, reaching out to the kindness and humanity of this world, asking for help in gathering the resources to leave Gaza and withstand the famine and displacement.
