My name is Muhammad Hosni, a Palestinian from Gaza specifically. Today I present to you a story that reflects resilience, survival, and the indomitable human spirit amid adversity.
As an ordinary person from Gaza, I found ourselves immersed in the war that broke out on October 7. Scenes of bombing and destruction became our harsh and painful reality, forcing us to endure them as hard as we could.
Gaza, which was once a place we called home and a source of income for anyone living in Gaza, has turned into an environment where you can do nothing or nothing, no work, no opportunity, and even the basic necessities of life. The basic elements of life - shelter, food and security - have been cruelly taken from us.
In the wake of these upheavals, we have witnessed the loss of almost everything that represents our existence. Which made me strongly determined to build a new life for me and my family, or to live in dignity to find water, hope, and food, away from the constant spectre of war.
