We are Ruba and Muhammad, a newly married couple. We met in university studying engineering, Muhammad was the top of our graduating class, and was not only smart but also so kind… and he loved my competitive and determined spirit.
11 months ago we got married. Since then, our home was totally destroyed, many family and friends have been buried under the soil or the rubble (Allah yrhamhum), Muhammad needs a hand surgery, and if we don’t escape, we will die or be killed.
We do not have a safe place to stay, our newly furnished home was bombed, Muhammad was directly hit and rescued from under the rubble, luckily he survived but needs a surgery to rescue his hand. Each day brings the grim reality of survival in Gaza, where even the simplest tasks like finding food has become a battle. Your support can make a world of difference.
