Help Ismail's family survive Gaza!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Patrice and I am an Irish mammy who interviewed 2 Palestinian families that did not have family outside of Palestine to set up go fund me's. Who did not have access to a bank account recognised by go fund me and who, most importantly lost their homes, their lives, their jobs and need supports and aid to eat.
Muhammad's younger brother Ismail, who was 17 years old last year when he reached out to me and after connecting, sharing videos and chatting, we are hoping to create a support fund for his family to help pay for food and daily needs in Gaza. Even a small donation can make such a difference to this family.
My first reaction was, you're so young, for him to respond telling me not to worry, his older brother Muhammad, 25 years old looks after him and helps him. They live together in tents in Rafah with Muhammad's children, his sister and her children.
Ismail's family and relatives lived in the East of the Gaza strip in Al-Shujaia, Jabal Al-Matar. He said it was beautiful and they lived a happy life there.
The picture above is Ismail's sister and brothers children. Ismail's relatives make up 5 families who are currently living in tents in Rafah with no homes to go back to and on many days, aid doesn't reach them and the local trade that's left is very expensive.
Devastatingly, in recent weeks, Ismail's niece 3 years old, was run over and died on the same day that his sister gave birth to a son, all during displacement living in tents in Rafah.
Nappies and food is so expensive and the aid is not enough for everyone.
Please help Ismail and Muhammad's family to have food and basic necessities for the children within their family.
We recently shared a fasting challenge online in solidarity and to raise funds, if you'd like to join the challenge or see it, here it is.
If every family could help another family that was struggling, we would all be in a much better place today. Let's start a change and donate anything you can to this family and others who are suffering with them.
Thank you for taking the time to read this families story and thank you in advance for your donation.
