Help Mussa buy a minibus to continue teaching
Hello everyone,
My name is Mussa Hassan Habib, I am a school teacher at Ngorongo pre school, located in Tanzania, and I currently teach 65 pupils.
They are between 3 and 6 years old. They are from Maasaï tribes and their parents are taking care of the cattle during the day.
My pupils dream to become doctors, driver guides, teachers, presidents, engineers and nurses. I want to help them to achieve their dreams and succeed in life. Almost all of them live near the school.
BUT there is a problem. I have to walk 4 kilometers through the forest each morning to go to the school and same each evening to go back to my home. I often meet dangerous animals like buffalos, hyenas, snakes, elephants… and sometimes I can hear the lions roaring next to me when I am going to school.
It’s the same for my students and it’s a very dangerous place to walk around.
I am very worried about that and I am the only teacher in the area so if I was attacked by a wild animal, the pupils couldn’t go to school anymore and their dreams will fail because of a lack of education access. Therefore, to be sure to be safe while going to school, and to ensure the education of my 65 Masaaï students, I need a car.
Ideally, I would like to raise enough money to collect a minibus to pick up the students and bring them back safely in the evening.
However, I know that a bus is very expensive and I would like to at least have a car because the situation cannot continue like this.
This month, 3 Maasaï children were unfortunately killed by lions : https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/lion-that-killed-and-ate-three-children-from-same-family-to-be-relocated/ar-AAN6Ceh
We cannot afford to continue to take such risks and we want to continue to educate the Maasaï children so that they can have the future they deserve.
Therefore, I need to raise some funds. Do not hesitate to give some money to Zara Charity, so that they can buy me a car or a minibus…
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Mussa.
