Help Mustafa Musallam rebuild his life in Gaza

My name is Jia Wei, one third of the team at Direct Funds For Gaza who are based in the UK, and I am posting this Gofundme on behalf of Mustafa Musallam , a journalist from Gaza who has helped us distribute Direct Funds For Gaza via cash aid, groceries, period products, ad-hoc funds of those hospitalised, orphaned and for families with premature babies.

This is his fundraiser and we will be sending him the money directly via international bank transfer and Western Union, as we have done so with our previous fundraisers.

This is his message to everyone:

Hello, world.

I am Mustafa, a journalist and social activist from Gaza, Palestine.

For a year and a half, we have documented the extermination and violence experienced by our people during the brutal Israeli war in the Gaza Strip. We have recorded countless moments of destruction, bombing, and killing inflicted by the Israeli occupation. This war has shattered our dreams and hopes, taking from us our most cherished possessions and experiences. We have faced death many times while striving to capture and share these harrowing images with the world in the hope that this destruction and violence will come to an end. I am grateful to be alive and to have survived, but we are left without a future, and the essence of life feels absent.

I remain here, still alive, with a desire to rebuild my future and to restore what this war has destroyed.

Please help me revive those dreams once again.

مرحباً أيها العالم

انا مصطفى صحفي وناشط إجتماعي من غزة - فلسطين .

لقد قمنا بتوثيق الإبادة والقتل بكل اشكاله على مدار سنة ونص من الحرب الإسرائيلية الغاشمة على أهلنا في قطاع غزة ، وثقنا الكثير من لحظات الدمار والقصف والعنف والقتل من قبل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بكافة أشكاله على قطاع غزة ، الحرب التي هدمت كل أحلامنا وآمالنا وسلبت منّا أعز ما نَملُك في هذة الحياة ، واجهنا الموت المحقق في كثير من اللحظات من أجل توثيق الصورة وإيصالها للعالم حتى يوقف هذا الدمار والقتل .لم أكن أعلم بإني سأنجو منها ونجونا بحمد الله ، نجونا ولكن بلا حياة وبلا مستقبل وبلا ملامح للحياة .

أنا هُنا وما زلت على قيد الحياة وأطمح بأن أعيد بناء مستقبلي وما دمرته هذه الحرب
