Help my Afghan Interpreter and his family!

Good news, everyone! Khan and his family have received their approved Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) from the State Department.

However, THEY NEED ADDITIONAL HELP. They are now in the long backlog (minimum 4-6 months) of the United Nations International Organization for Migration's (IOM) relocation list. Their situation is dire as the third country they are hiding in is still a hostile country for any known U.S. allies, and the Taliban threat is very much real. On top of this, Khan and his family's Tourist Visa to the third country is expiring shortly. The local government will likely deport them back to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan once their tourist visa expires.

To mitigate this, I am trying to raise money so Khan and his family can evacuate immediately to the United States. This will also alleviate his financial burden as the U.S. Government requires all relocated refugees to pay back their transportation costs once they are established in the United States.

Any donation you provide will contribute towards Khan and his family immediately leaving their untenable dangerous situation and providing financial assistance once they start their new life here in the United States.
