Iris's fight against brain cancer.

Hi, my name is Kwyntan Lau, and my wife is Morgan Lau.

We are starting this go fund me for our daughter,

Iris – Blake Lau

on February 6, 2024, Iris was admitted to the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.

Upon arriving to the emergency room, she was given a CT scan to which they found a mass on her cerebellum. Following that the next day, she had a biopsy done to retrieve a sample of spinal fluid and of the mass that was found. They were unable to get a sample of the mass, but was successful in getting a spinal fluid test and sent to pathology. On February 12, 2024 Iris had brain surgery. It was a 10 hour procedure to remove a massive tumor from her cerebellum. She was admitted to the PICU and stayed there for a couple of days. She was then placed in the CICU for two days. Afterwards she went to 4 West cancer floor for a couple of days to now where she’s in the 6th floor for rehabilitation and medicine.

She’s got a lengthy stay here at CHNOLA

She was diagnosed with ETMR. It’s a grade IV malignant tumor and is extremely aggressive.

My baby girl is 18 months old and has cancer.

We would love for anyone who feels the need to donate to this cause which will help me and my wife get back and forth to the hospital for travel expenses as well as food, and other things my daughter may need in the future.

This was something that we never thought would happen to our family but life loves to deal these kinds of things to us.
