Hi, my name is Mona , and l am 30 years old.

I was living a peaceful and happy life in the Gaza strip along with my beloved husband Basel and

daughter Sarah.

I had my baby girl after 4 years of waiting and I can't imagine losing her.

The birth process was very difficult. I needed a caesarean section. On the same day, at 11 p.m., they were get out me from the hospital without review and without medical care due to the severe bombing.

I cannot forget the pain until this moment. I and five women were in the ambulance, and we were all suffering from the same pain. The roads were bumpy, broken, and destructive, and the road was full of darkness.

A few days after she came, our house that my beloved husband and I had displaced from our home. We chose everything in it, piece by piece, from the tiles of the house to the colors of the wall.

We chose everything with love and care and prepared Sarah’s room with love and longing. We waited her for a long time, but our dream was not complete. Sarah came to live a tiring and horrific life that adults could not bear until Sarah could bear it.

We succeeded from our house to a tent.

We fled to Deir Al-Balah, tired and broken, searching for a safe place.

My little girl cannot sleep. Her father and I are very afraid. All we want is to be able to get her out of this war and start a new life.
