Help Austin Watts cover his medical bills!

My name is Avery Morgan. My boyfriend, Austin Watts, got in an accident on a rental electric scooter in the beginning of October. He spent the night in the ER of two hospitals, took a ride in an ambulance, and was given multiple CT scans and X-rays. It was determined that he had a skull fracture and a broken collar bone. 

He had only been at his new job for around a month when this incident occurred so his insurance hadn’t kicked in yet. After a couple weeks his job determined that it would be a liability to have him on the job site and let him go for the time being. We found out today that his unemployment benefits are being denied as well.

At the moment we are looking at $6,000 in medical bills so far (care is ongoing) and months in lost wages. Obviously we all have felt the rise in cost of living at the moment and that combined with the aftermath of this accident is devastating. It feels like he’s out of luck on every avenue we explore looking for some kind of support and bills just keep rolling in.
