Help My Brother Corey Rebuild His Home

Hi, my name is Holly, unfortunately I am creating this GoFundMe for my older brother Corey. He is one of the most selfless and hardworking people in this world. The kind of person who would always put others before himself and expect nothing in return. The kind of person who would never ask anyone for help even when he needs it the most. Which is why I want to surprise him with the funds earned here. Corey’s new home he purchased only two years ago was completely and utterly destroyed by his now ex girlfriend. She went on a rampage and broke everything in his home. He had to watch her take a crowbar and hammer to nearly every window in his home, every door, every mirror, anything she could destroy she did. Corey called the police 6 times begging for help as she continued to destroy his home in front of his eyes. There response was “She’s considered a resident of your house and can destroy anything”. Her hearing this only encouraged her to do further damage taunting Corey while she was destroying his house. She was later arrested, however, she was bonded out and walked from the police department back to Coreys house. At the time Corey and our Mom were filling for an Emergency Order of Protection. During that time his ex girlfriend broke into the house and burned all of his personal belongings such as clothes, birth certificate, and his social security card. Whatever she didn’t burn she stole from him. On top of that she flooded his basement with nearly 3 inches of water and took a hammer to his cars front windshield. My brother and our family are left shattered after this tragedy. Corey’s birthday is only a couple days away and I would love to surprise him with the funds from this.
