Help my brother Esteban in his medical journey
Donation protected
Three weeks ago, my brother Esteban was playing basketball with his friends and he hit his head against someone else. We suspected he had a concussion but he hesitated to go to the hospital. Since then, he’s been having headaches that don’t go away and his wife noticed him having difficulties in coordination.
On July 25th, his wife Genesis made him go to the hospital and after various tests including an MRI, they received news – he has not one, but two brain tumors. The larger tumor measuring a concerning 3.5 inches and the smaller one is in a more complicated location.
On Thursday, he faces a daunting surgery, in which he will remain awake to allow the surgeons the ability to monitor his motor skills as they carefully remove the tumors. The tumors will be sent for biopsy that day and we hope to receive negative results that same afternoon.
As his medical journey unfolds, the doctors predict that radiation and physical/occupational therapy will likely be necessary. The extent of his treatment plan will depend on the biopsy and surgery results, adding uncertainty to a challenging situation.
Esteban is responsible for providing for his family and is anxious on how he will cover medical bills, housing, daily costs and unforeseen expenses. Your support and generosity can make a significant difference in alleviating the financial burden on his family during this trying time.
Join us in supporting his journey as every donation, big or small, will contribute to his path to healing and recovery.
Thank you for your support as my brother navigates through brain surgery and the road to recovery.
