Christophers SCI Recovery
Donation protected
On January 6, 2025, my little brother's life changed in an instant. Christopher suffered a severe spinal cord injury, breaking his neck and fracturing his C5 vertebrae. To stabilize his spine, he underwent surgery to fuse his C4-C6 vertebrae. Currently, he is intubated and paralyzed, with control of his arms and limited hand mobility. Despite this unimaginable challenge, he is making small strides every day and has even begun to regain feeling in his lower extremities.
Christopher is a bright, kind, and gentle soul. He loves volleyball, basketball, and skateboarding, and enjoys gaming—especially NBA 2K. His passion for cars, bikes, and motorcycles has always brought him joy, and he’s an incredibly smart and thoughtful young man. He’s also a loving sibling to Jayden (14) and me, Timothy (23), and a devoted companion to his beloved dog, Moe.
Recovery from a spinal cord injury is a long and difficult journey that requires specialized care and rehabilitation. We want to give my brother the best chance at recovery by getting him to one of the top rehabilitation centers: either Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, or Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL. Both facilities are world-renowned for their expertise in spinal cord injury treatment and offer the intensive therapy he needs to regain as much mobility and independence as possible.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
Medical expenses and rehabilitation costs
Travel and lodging for my brother and our family
Specialized equipment and adaptive technologies
Ongoing care and therapy to aid his recovery
