Help my dad beat homelessness

Hi, everyone.

I've created this GoFundMe to help my dad out of an awful situation.

After many, many years as a delivery driver for Fed-Ex, his health declined and he became unable to work. He has since lost everything, including his home, and has had to live out of his car for over a year now. He's been waiting on his disability to be approved for several months, and with every bit of progress it seems there's another delay.

It pains me to know that this is his reality, and even more to feel like I can't help him. We live on opposite ends of the country and I'm a minimum-wage earning student. He's told me that being 54 years old and alone, all he wants at this point is a van to live in more comfortably. This is his plan if and when his disability and back pay come through, but it's not clear when that will be and he needs help sooner.

He's always worked incredibly hard to ensure his loved ones were taken care of (myself included), and now he doesn't have anybody able to help take care of him. Your donation would mean the world to me, and to him.
