Help my Dad Bruce save his home

My son & I are about to lose our home. My bother & I used our inheritance when our Mom passed to buy it together. It was meant to be our final home for him, our grandmother & I but our grandmother passed just days before we were to move in.

Moving ahead 11 years later I'm almost 68, my brother was 5 years younger than me & him, my son & I lived in the house together since we bought the it up until my brother died last year of organ failure after a long hard fight in & out of the hospital for years.

Long story short my brother left behind $119,000 in medical debt that Medicaid is forcing the sale of the home to recover, I had no idea that was even something they could do. The house is only assessed at $48,000, it's no palace but it's home, it was supposed to be my final home & a home for my son who suffers from a muscle condition doctors haven't been able to get to the bottom of despite countless tests & a muscle biopsy over the past 5 years. I work 40hrs a week just to make ends barely meet.

We're told we only have 3 months, a 90 day notice to vacate was posted on our door September 22nd (but it's dated September 8th so we don't truly even know if we have until Dec 22nd or only until the 8th) I hate to have to do this because I know there's so many other people massively struggling too but I'm out of options, only getting older & on the edge of ruin. Please help us save our home if you're able to
