Help my dad buy landscaping equipment

Hi, My name is Diana. I’ve come to ask for help. My dad is a landscaper with over 40 years of experience. He has run his own business out of his own hard earned money. He is 67 years old, works like he’s in his 20s. He is the most honest hardworking man I know. He’s the sole provider for our family of 5. He never once has stopped to consider retiring even after getting COVID, having hernia surgery, and ulcers bursting in his stomach. Translating his exact words were “I won’t stop working until I drop.”

Unfortunately, July 30th, around 2:50pm. My dad’s work truck was stolen. We filed a police report and they started an investigation but we were not going to wait. We drove for hours in areas looking into parking lots and alleys reaching for the truck. We finally found it. After waiting for police, they checked if it was safe to approach the car. The truck was empty out. They stole all lawnmowers, weed cutters, chainsaws, ladders, hoses, drills, tubing, and many other smaller tools. Everything my dad has ever owned for his business was taken.

We are all very heartbroken and troubled. With the time my dad is going to be out of business, it could take months for my brother and I to make enough money to help out dad buy new equipment.
