Help My Dad Recover from an Aneurysm

Hi my name is Danilo Martinez, and I am fundraising for my dad's health.

Your donations will go towards supporting my dad’s recovery after he underwent a life threatening aneurysm. Donations would help cover medical costs, physical therapy, and post-rehab support.

Our Story,

I took my beloved dad to the ER on Thanksgiving day, not knowing that his alarming back pain would turn out to be an aortic aneurysm that ultimately led to his life-threatening aortic dissection. Doctors performed a 16-hour long heart surgery that saved his life.

Since then, my dad’s recovery has been met with several challenges medically, financially, and emotionally as he suffered “innumerable strokes” and has had to undergo intermittent dialysis.

He is currently in a long-term acute rehab after being hospitalized for two months. We hope he can regather his strength, in hopes that he can come back home soon.

Due to the extent of his injuries he cannot work and has to attend occupational and physical therapy.

At this moment I want to emphasize how amazing of a friend, supporter, and above all father he is. He has constantly puts others' needs before his own. As such, seeing the strongest and kindest person I know suffering like this is heartbreaking.

I really hope that with everyone’s efforts we can help ease the situation he's in. More importantly, help my dad focus on healing.
