HelpMy Dad Recover From Being Hit By a Car

Last night, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at around 9:00 p.m. my dad was walking to the store to get a snack in Spencer, Oklahoma. A small SUV quickly passed around another vehicle and struck my father with their vehicle. The driver fled the scene and left my injured dad on the side of the road in a ditch, leaving him with several broken bones. Another kind driver pulled over when they saw my dad - helped him find his phone and called for help. My uncle took my dad to the emergency room - he had several obvious injuries. This morning when my sister and I took him to the orthopedic surgeon, they told us he needs to have surgery tomorrow. My dad has had a rough couple of years and this being added to his list of struggles both breaks my heart and leaves me feeling helpless. He had just gotten back on his feet. I am asking for generous people in the community to help me with some of his medical bills - so my dad can focus on healing from the injuries and trauma of the accident, rather than the financial burden of the situation.
