Help my Dad retire after being scammed out of $20k.

Hello, my name is Natalie.

I’m writing this about my Dad, Martin (64) who has unfortunately fallen victim to a scam and has lost over $20k which was for his retirement fund (which was not large to begin with).

So what happened was he clicked on a link to a website for products and the products don’t have a “buy now” button, you have to sign up to become a member.

So you get an account with them and their site shows you two "mystery" boxes. You click one and a product is displayed. You click it to get it to get a little money (in your account). You do that 30 times (cycles) and you can take some money out.

Here's the catch. Every now and then a "Limited Edition" (LE) item is displayed. It has a much bigger commission but you have to pay for it yourself. They said there are only 2 maybe 3 LEs per 30 cycles. He was making money but he got 6 LEs by the time I got to 30 cycles. Each LE was a little bit dearer but with a higher commission than the last.

The LEs got more and more expensive and more frequent, he was told he could get all the money and profit back at 30 cycles. However, he couldn't get any back at 30 cycles. He talked to their Support people and they said because his Balance was so big his VIP level automatically went to level 4 VIP with a higher commission.

They said he’d now had 35, not 30 cycles, to do to get his money back, he did 2 of the new cycles and then the 3rd of the 5 extra cycles was an LE for a huge amount. He paid it in desperation hoping the last 2 would not be LEs. The next was an LE for more money. (These 2 LE’s where over $12k) and hoped the final one would not be an LE but it as and it was $42,000!!

He’s lost a total of over $20k out of his retirement fund (which is heartbreaking considering he doesn’t have much to begin with).

The worst part is they take crypto payments so his money is gone and this morning we uncovered the real business here:

My Dad has worked in IT for the past 25 years, and for those years I watched him leave the house at 5am every morning & not get home until 6pm due to work commute.

He’s an extremely dedicated and hard working man, and in 2009 at the age of 49 he was finally able to purchase his first and only home.

However, due to the time this has led him to not even having half of the mortgage paid off leaving him with over $300k left to pay off.

He’s nearing the age of 65 and has an incurable disease called COPD which affects your lungs as well as showing early signs of memory loss (a condition that unfortunately runs in the family).

I fear my Dad’s future as he does not have enough money to retire with his mortgage, so losing the additional $20k is heartbreaking.

The COPD and memory loss has been affecting his ability to work and he now struggles to maintain the jobs he used too.

He’s been looking for a way to try and make money online as an attempt to continue to pay off his mortgage and hopefully retire.

This is how he came across this online scam and lost his money.

By raising these funds, you will be helping an honest and hard working man come a little step closer to retirement.

Thank you so much for your help! Every donation is so gratefully appreciated.
