Help My Dad Win His Battle With COVID-19

A few weeks ago, my dad, Al Rothstein, tested positive for COVID-19. About a week and a half later, he was rushed to the Emergency Room from lack of ability to breathe. It seemed like he was getting better for two days until we got a horrifying phone call in the middle of the night saying that he was now in critical condition and had to put him in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator while paralyzing his body so he wouldn't resist.
By this time, COVID had completely taken over his lungs and continued to worsen. They found a blood clot in his leg and was put on a blood thinner medicine. This medicine caused blood to enter the lungs and from there, he was coughing up blood. That hospital called us and said that they have done everything they can and they wanted to transfer him to another hospital that had a dialysis machine since his kidneys started to fail and no medicines were working.
He was transported to another hospital and made it there safely with no complications.
As I am writing this, it is March 8th, 2021. For over a week now my dad has been in the ICU. More so, for a week now, my dad has been in his coma relying on the ventilator to keep him breathing. He continues to make small improvements but as of right now, it remains unclear how long my dad will need to remain in this state.
It is because of this that I wanted to start this campaign. All of the proceeds donated through this campaign will go directly towards the accumulated medical expenses of the life-saving measures my dad continues to require. All donations are appreciated!
