Help Joey with Medical and Living Expenses
Donation protected
Hello my name is Joey Graves,
I am a single father with 5 kids 2 of which still live with me, i have split custody (50/50) of my kids. For the last 3 years i have worked in a nursing home in rural S.E. MN as a Laundry and Housekeeping Manager.
I am asking for any help you are able to give to help with the costs of uninsured medical costs, living expenses from loss of income, and future medical expenses as I try to get a transplant.
I was hospitalized in January and Diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Disease, Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure. I have been doing treatments and doctor visits on a monthly basis.
On September 13th at my doctor's visit they changed my stage to 5 with renal failure. The levels of toxins and Creatin in my system excided levels for an adult and I had to start dialysis and the process of transplant eligibility.
I am no longer able to work my job and have no current income. Disability is still pending through my work policy but only covers a small percent of my normal monthly income.
My insurance policy thru work is a bare minimum policy and does not cover the total costs of dialysis, multiple labs, Doctor visits or transplant procedures. Currently waiting on Medicaid to start up, 2-3 months, to help with medical bills.
From myself and my kids we appreciate any help you can give or thoughts and well wishes as I am hoping to get to a stage were I can get back to work.
Thank You,
Joey Graves and Family
