Help Kale and Daniel Rebuild After LA Fire

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my heart is breaking for my daughter (Kale Smith) and her boyfriend (Daniel Meursing). They were caught in the middle of the Pacific Palisades Fire in California. When the evacuation orders came, they had to leave their home immediately, scared for their safety. They only had time to grab their important documents and a single change of clothes everything else they own is gone.

The fire took their home, along with so many irreplaceable memories and all the little things that made their house feel like a home. They’ve lost everything, and now they’re trying to figure out how to rebuild their lives from scratch.

I’m putting this GoFundMe together because they need help with the basics: a safe place to stay, food on the table, and some clothes to get them through the next few days and weeks. Starting over is overwhelming, but I’m hoping that with a little support, we can help ease some of the weight they’re carrying.

Anything you can give whether it’s a donation or sharing this will mean so much. They’re incredibly strong, but this has been very devastating.

We also want to pay it forward. If they end up with more support than they need, every extra dollar will go directly to helping their neighbors and other families affected by the Los Angeles fires.
