Help my daughter who lost everything in the Eaton fire

My name is Atiya Bansal and I am raising funds for my daughter Juhi Bansal and her husband Nic Gerpe to recover after their home was burnt down in the Eaton fire on January 8, 2025.

Juhi and Nic have been a part of the Altadena community for over 15 years and part of the broader LA community for over 22 years. During these years they’ve worked hard to build their home and careers and give back to the community.

Juhi Bansal is an award-winning music composer and teacher.

While both of them escaped the fire unharmed, ongoing medical issues as well as losing all their belongings have made recovery incredibly difficult.

They evacuated their home on the night of 7 January carrying only a couple of clothes, their laptops, and a few important documents. They hoped the evacuation order would be lifted by the next morning and they could return, but the house burnt down overnight with all their belongings in it.
