Help my Daughter Jenna Recover From Gun Violence
Donation protected
Our lives were turned upside down when I witnessed my daughter Jenna, brutally shot in our neighborhood. She is an innocent victim of gun violence. Last Thursday evening March 31st, I rushed to scene, where I witnessed my daughter lying on the ground with six gunshot wounds on East 56th and Linden BLVD in Brooklyn. These wounds were inflicted in various parts of her body, requiring tremendous medical and structural rehabilitation.
Our Jenna, is a 20-year-old honor student and a good citizen of her community. That afternoon, she took her cousins to the park and then treated them to a bite to eat. It started to rain, so she returned to her car and pulled over just a few blocks away from home to finish their meal when her vehicle was laden with bullets, leaving her seriously wounded, her 12 year cousin dead and 8-year-old cousin traumatized. With numerous surgeries and a lengthy rehabilitation journey ahead, we need your help to support our daughter Jenna's recovery.
Your donations will cover medical expenses, including treatments, social services and physical therapy, and help our family support our daughter while she is in recovery.
We thank you in advance for supporting our daughter and our family.
With Appreciation,
Jennifer Ellis (Jenna's Mom)
