Help Thea after Hurricane Dorian
Donation protected
My friend Thea Mills, (she worked at Choppy's, Georgetown) and her sister, Jasmine Heild, along with their children, Ramon, Prince, Jessica Rusell have lost everything. The roof was torn off of their home and they lost ALL THEY OWN! And because they work in the service industry, they will have no income. Please if you can help in any way, please donate. These are our beloved Bahamian friends.
They are currently staying in a shelter but have no home to go back to. They are hard working, beautiful people that could use some help.
Thank you
Cara Fucci, friend of Thea Mills Brown
Update:
Since Thea is unable to access the funds from GoFundMe because she is in another country (Bahamas) I must remove the funds from the campaign and then transfer those funds to her via Western Union. I have already transferred via Western Union, $100 of my own money (on top of the GoFundMe funds) so that they can get a hot meal. I had to use Western Union (and worked on this for 5 hours today to make this happen TODAY) and will do so again for the rest of the funds as soon as possible. If I am able to transfer the funds via Money Gram I will do so but so far that was not available. Thea has to get a ride across Nassau (where she is in a shelter) to pick up the cash from a Western Union office.
This is the latest photo that Thea sent me of herself and her daughter today.
