Rebuild Lives Displaced by Israeli Aggression in the Gaza
Donation protected
Dear compassionate souls,
I am Haneen Alghazali, the daughter of an 80-year-old father and a 66-year-old mother who are currently under Israeli aggression.
I found myself stranded in Egypt for the first three days of October 7th, while my parents are currently in a temporary shelter in the southern part of Gaza. Recently, on March 20, 2024, the Israeli occupation army bombed our three houses. Our building, which consists of nine floors and contains 50 apartments, was our home and shelter. The occupying force in the southern Gaza Strip denied my displaced family the right to return home, leaving us utterly destitute. My old father suffers from heart illness; my mother has high blood pressure; and my brother's family is homeless and living in a temporary shelter.
Since the beginning of the war on October 7th, my family's misery has worsened due to bombardment, constant displacement, and the loss of our homes. My parents have been forced to relocate from our wonderful house in Gaza City's most beautiful neighborhood, which Israel has demolished and bombed, leaving my parents and family without a place to call home.
They are currently suffering from the most severe conditions since my father became war-affected and fractured his pelvic bone, and he requires platinum arthritis, which cannot be conducted in Gaza clinics, where his situation is not possible. He has already undergone open-heart surgery, and he is 80 years old.
My mother, who is also suffering from hypertension and hydration because there is not any safe water to drink, requires drinking water and medication.
In addition to the tough health conditions, where there is no restroom to bathe or shower, my parents have not showered since the start of the war, and my mother was diagnosed with multiple infections as a result of poor health conditions. Also, my parents' medicine is not accessible in governmental clinics or UNRWA, and it is so expensive for pharmacists with no income. In addition, my brother suffers from diabetes; he needs intensive care and is unable to take care of them.
Unfortunately, because I have also been suspended in Egypt, my work in the Gaza Strip has been harmed, and my source of income has been cut off, which may have been the reason for payment or a portion thereof. Therefore, I need more than $15,000 to relocate my parents to Egypt and to assist my brothers, who have children without a home after houses were bombarded in Gaza City on March 20. So, if every generous individual contributes $20, $50, $100, or more, you will help my parents, brothers, and their children live an existence while also saving them, who are currently homeless. When they relocate to Egypt, I can care for them and purchase medicine, clothing, and food for them. I implore every generous and merciful person to assist me in my parents’ homeland, because I cannot afford the presence of his parents under these circumstances, nor can I afford to care for them.
