Help my family and me in securing a safer life

Hello, my name is Shahd Alqolaq, I'm 19-year-old from Gaza.

I'm sharing this message after months of contemplation and uncertainty, driven by a sense of desperation, as I now believe it's our only means of survival. The weight of responsibility to protect my family weighs heavily on my mind.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has plunged us into dire circumstances. Our family is confronted with challenges pushing us to our breaking point, and we're reaching out, clinging to hope for even the smallest respite.

Gaza has been our home, amidst its moments of joy and struggle, but presently, it's a matter of life and death.

We've stayed in the north for a while but we the situation became horrifically unbearable. We left the north and evacuated more than 4 times, threatened by airstrikes and death.

We're a large family, consisting of 8 members, my family consists of my father, my mother, three brothers, and two sisters

My younger brother, Karam, who is 3 years old, often asks us for things, but unfortunately, we are unable to fulfil his requests due to the scarcity of basic necessities and the soaring prices.

The company that sustained our modest livelihood has been utterly destroyed. We urgently seek your assistance in facilitating our departure from Gaza to Egypt.

How the fund will be spent:

To escape this nightmare, we need $5,000 per person to cross the Egypt borders, plus extra money to stay there until things calm down.

The Egyptian borders takes $5,000 each, 8 members x $5,000 = $40,000.

Cost of living in Egypt, until we can provide an income = $8000.

Your help could mean everything to us. Your donation wouldn't just be money; it would be a lifeline, giving us a chance to find safety and a bit of peace in the midst of this chaos.

This is our last option, and there is nothing other than this that we can do, to live again.

My dream is to complete my university studies and keep my family safe.
