Saving Yusuf's Heart & Family: A Cry for Help from Gaza

I am Mustafa Al-Shurafa from Gaza, a devoted civil engineer, and a loving husband to Hanan Al-Shurafa. Our little family, including our precious sons Yusuf (8 years old) and Bashir (2 years old), is facing a dire situation, and we urgently need your support to leave Gaza and literally save ourselves.

Yusuf, our brave eight-year-old, battles not one but two heart conditions: a narrowed pulmonary valve and a deviation in the aortic artery. His journey to treatment was halted by the tragic events of October 7th, leaving him vulnerable and frail. Due to the lack of suitable medical care and nourishment in Gaza, Yusuf's health deteriorates day by day, breaking our hearts as parents.

Bashir, our two-year-old bundle of joy, deserves the innocence of childhood, yet he's grown up amidst the chaos and uncertainty of conflict. His laughter mingles with the echoes of explosions in Gaza, and his tiny frame bears the burden of displacement and deprivation. As parents, it pains us deeply to see our children robbed of the safety and stability they deserve.

Our family once knew peace and stability until we were forcibly displaced from our home in Gaza City. With nowhere to turn, we sought refuge with relatives, enduring cramped conditions and scarce resources. Each move brought new challenges, from bitter cold to constant illness, leaving us desperate for a glimmer of hope.

Today, I stand before you, humbled and desperate, pleading for your kindness and generosity. Our journey to safety and healing requires significant financial support, including travel expenses to Egypt, where Yusuf can receive the life-saving treatment he urgently needs. With your help, we can reclaim our shattered lives and give our children the chance they deserve.

Allocation of Funds:

Primary Beneficiary: The funds raised by Mustafa Shurafa on behalf of Alaaeddin Loulou are primarily designated to support Mustafa Shurafa's family due to banking limitations in the Gaza strip, ensuring direct assistance where it's needed most.

Transparent Transfer: Alaaeddin Loulou, based in Finland, will oversee the transfer of collected donations to Mustafa Shurafa's father, Bashir Shurafa, residing in Egypt, guaranteeing a secure and transparent process.

No Personal Gain: Rest assured, Alaaeddin Loulou will not derive any personal benefit from the donations. Every euro contributed will go towards alleviating the plight of Mustafa Shurafa's family.

Relocation Assistance: €20,000 will be earmarked to facilitate Mustafa Shurafa and his family's relocation from Gaza strip to Egypt, providing them with a safe haven away from conflict and uncertainty.

أنا مصطفى الشرفا من غزة، مهندس مدني متزوج من حنان الشرفا ولدينا طفلين: يوسف، عمره ثمانية سنوات، و بشير عمره سنتين. أنا أبحث عن دعم مالي للسفر إلى مصر لعلاج ابني يوسف وتوفير حياة أفضل له ولأخيه.

يوسف ذو الثماني سنوات يعاني من مشكلتين صحيتين في القلب الاولى ضيق في الصمام الرئوي والثانية انحراف في الشريان الأورطي وكان من المفترض ذهابه لمستشفى في مدينة حولون في القدس في تاريخ 30 اكتوبر إلا ان احداث ٧ أكتوبر اعاقت سفره للعلاج والان طفلي الصغير يعاني دائماً ،فهو حاليا هزيل لسوء التغذية، ولعدم توفر بئية صحية مناسبة لحالته.

أما بشير طفلي صاحب العامين لقد كبر وادرك العالم وهو بتنقل من مكان لمكان بحث عن الامان ويستيقظ وينام على اصوات الانفجارات وفي ضوء هذا بشير يفتقر لتغذية مناسبة لسنه أو حتى مقومات حياة تناسب طفل بعمره.

أنا وعائلتي الصغيرة كنا نعيش في استقرار حتى تاريخ ٧ أكتوبر. حيث اضطررنا للنزوح من بيتنا في مدينة غزة باتجاه مدينة دير البلح،في منزل أحد الأقارب مع ما يقارب 100 شخص من افراد العائلة،بدون أي خصوصية، وحرمان أبنائي والأطفال الاخرون من ابسط حقوقهم في الحياة وهو اللعب والطعام.

ومن ثم حين اشتد الوضع سوءا نزحنا مرة أخرى نحو مدينة خانيونس،كان المكان عبارة عن منزل بدون أبواب وشبابيك وفي بداية فضل الشتاء مما سبب لمرض أطفالي شبه الدائم، وأخيراً عدنا إلى مدينة دير البلح، والوضع حاليا كارثي هنا في مدينة دير البلح.

لم أفكر أبدا مغادرة وطني فلسطين في مدينة غزة الا أن الوضع حاليا أصبح كارثي خسرت بيتي بعد تدمر من الخلال العدوان، وعملي ولا أريد أبدا أن أخسر أطفالي.

سأكون شاكرا لكل من يساعدني ويتبرع من أجل انقاذ حياة أسرتي. لم أفكر أبدا بالقيام بمثل هذه الحملة قبل هذا اليوم الا أن باتت كل السبل مغلقة أمامي في ظل ارتفاع تكاليف السفر الى مصر حيث تكلفة السفر لي ولزوجتي وطفلي تعدت ال ٢٠ ألف دولار وذلك غير تكلفة المعيشة في مصر وتكلفة علاج ابني يوسف في مستشفيات الخارج.
