I beg everyone’s help and support in saving my family from the atrocities and horrors in Gaza Strip

My name is Nevin Atta. I was lucky and fortunate that I managed to leave Gaza three months ago and go straight to Canada where my husband lives. I left during the Israeli attacks and destruction caused by the IDF after October 7th. I risked my life and was exposed to psychological pressures and wounds in my foot while escaping our family home that was demolished along with other nearby homes.

I need your help to evacuate my family and have them cross the border into Egypt to save them from any near-death experience. They are currently trapped and have no shelter except some pieces of cloth. My “big” family, which includes the families of my siblings has lost seven homes after they have been fully destroyed by the IDF soldiers, so we fled to UNRWA shelter and then to the refugee camps in Rafah City.

While fleeing from the fire, planes, and explosives that targeted everything and everyone in Gaza, some family members, including siblings and children, were injured, and we lost some family members and relatives while moving from one place to another. The family is now living without shelter or health care.

I beg everyone’s support helping my family to evacuate Gaza and safely move to Egypt. The children need to be in a safe place, and they also need to undergo physical and psychological treatments that they currently cannot afford.

They need the money to be able to move across the Egyptian border. Crossing the border costs adults $5000 and $2000 for children under the age of 18. My family consists of 34 members in total.

There is my father, my mother, my five brothers and four sisters. My brothers (Ashraf, his wife and six children), (Hussein, his wife and two children), (Salam, his wife, and a child), and two single brothers, Muhammad, and Mahmoud. My sisters (Shireen, her husband and two children), (Heba, her husband and three children), (Dina, her husband and three children), and my single sister, Hala.

They are all suffering psychological devastation from the effects of war, and the loss of our beautiful home. The family has 17 children. We need their total travel amount ($42,500) to travel via Egypt. Here are their names: Yamen, Huda, Alma, Salma, Tala, Nova, Jude, Ahmad, Daniel, Kinaz, Karim, Layan, Muhammad, Siwar, Nawal, Ahmad, and Lana. Lana is 20 days old and was born in the displacement tents. Unfortunately, some of them were exposed to malnutrition.

These are all children that are less than 11 years of age and are completely innocent from this war. Here are the details of the amounts they need: Travel fees for 17 children; each child is $2,500. Travel fees to cross the border into Egypt is $5,000 per adult. Living expenses of renting apartments to shelter them in Egypt, treatment, and lunch expenses for each, estimated at $2,000 per month for a year, $24,000. The money will be transferred to Egypt to pay the travel fees, coordinate for them, and prepare homes for settlement after seven months of escaping death and moving from place to place
