Emergency: Help my Family Evacuation from Gaza

Hello, my name is Amaan Elmasri, and today I am reaching out to the world with an urgent plea on behalf of my cousin Mohammed Elmasri and his family, who are currently enduring an unimaginable crisis in Gaza. Their family of five cherished members is facing extreme hardship, and they desperately need your support.

Our Story:

Since October 7th, life has taken a dire turn for my family. Their home neighborhood in the North of Gaza has been obliterated, leading to five forced evacuations under harrowing conditions. Initially seeking refuge with relatives across Gaza, they found no safety as the conflict’s unpredictability followed them, shattering any semblance of security. Today, they reside in a makeshift tent, deprived of the most basic human necessities: sanitation, medical care, food, water, and warmth.

The family consists of my cousin Mohammed Elmasri, his wife Nour, their two children Karam & Mira, and his father-in-law Ahmed. Each day, they face starvation, dehydration, and the biting cold, with the added burden of medical conditions that cannot be treated due to the unavailability of medication. Among them, a recently liberated father-in-law battles diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure without access to his vital medications.

Meet My Remarkable Family:

• Mohammed (32 years): An emblem of innovation and resilience, Mohammed's career as a university lecturer and entrepreneur in the field of marketing, with a focus on artificial intelligence, highlights his intellectual prowess and forward-thinking. Beyond founding a cutting-edge marketing company, he holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in financial technology, digital marketing, and research. His ambitions were set on expanding his knowledge and expertise through a doctorate degree at the University of Bradford, a dream momentarily paused by the war that devastated his workplace and disrupted his professional journey.

• Nour (31 years): Nour's spirit is unbreakable. An ambitious wife and mother, her pursuit of a master's degree has been halted by the war. She also lost her position at a bank, which was destroyed.

• Karam (7 years): A young soul with a passion for drawing, Karam's YouTube channel is a window into his undying energy and positivity, even in the face of adversity.

• Ahmed (60 years): A devoted teacher and recent survivor of detainment, Ahmed is battling health issues without access to essential medications.
