Help My Family Escape War In Congo

hi my name is Calvin and i am making this fundraiser for my family. Currently, my family is caught in the middle of the escalating conflict in eastern Congo. Originally from Uvira, a town near Lake Tanganyika, they were forced to flee as the M23 rebel group advanced, making it too dangerous to stay. In a desperate attempt to find safety, they made their way out of the city, hoping to escape the violence. But the journey has been anything but safe.

During this chaotic displacement, my father was separated from the rest of the family. While trying to reunite with them, he was kidnapped by armed groups and held hostage. The days he spent in captivity were filled with uncertainty and fear, but by some miracle, he was released. Unfortunately, he is now stranded in an extremely dangerous area, with no clear path to safety.

Meanwhile, my the rest of family is still struggling. The town where they are is overwhelmed with displaced people, food and shelter are scarce, and the fear of further violence is ever-present. Their situation is dire, and without urgent help, they have no way to leave the country and find safety.

I am raising funds to help my father escape his current location and reunite with my family. The goal is to ensure they can all leave Congo and reach a place where they can finally be safe. Every contribution will go directly toward transportation, food, and the necessary documents to help them cross the border.
