Help my family evacuate safely

I am Lana, a Palestinian residing in Gaza. It is with deep sorrow that I reach out to you today, seeking assistance to relocate my family from Gaza to Egypt.

Allow me to briefly share my family's story:

During the war, we were compelled to move from the north to the south, experiencing displacement and enduring over seven evacuations. Our current living conditions are incredibly challenging. The situation in Gaza is dire, intolerable, and our lives are in grave danger. We have lost everything, with our home destroyed, leaving us with nothing more to lose. Now, my urgent goal is to secure the departure of my remaining family from Gaza. Unfortunately, we lack the financial means to cover the costs of leaving Gaza. Each person requires between $5,000 and $7,000 USD for the evacuation. This has led me to seek donations as a last resort. The situation for my family is deteriorating day by day. My grandmother urgently needs medicines and painkillers for her bone problems, and my young brother requires milk and food. The circumstances are worsening each passing day.

To facilitate my family's evacuation from Gaza to Egypt, I am initiating a GoFundMe campaign to raise $40,000 USD. Here is a breakdown of the funds:

$40,000 USD allocated to cover expenses related to obtaining permits to leave Gaza and crossing fees at Rafah, the Egypt-Gaza border. This amounts to $5,000-$7,000 per person, including my two brothers' families and my parents' families (a total of six people: Lana, Ahmed, Adam, Father, Mother, and my grandmother).

$1,500 USD will cover GoFundMe's transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation).

Every donation, regardless of its size, will significantly contribute to my family's safety. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently, ensuring that every dollar is dedicated to ensuring their well-being.
