Help my family members to escape war

Hi, my name is Huda Almughari. I am here to request help for the evacuation of my family from Gaza to a safe place.

The current situation in Gaza has become increasingly dire, with the ongoing conflict putting the lives of my loved ones at grave risk. Specifically, I am deeply concerned for the safety of my brother, Nabil, and my sisters Aya and Islam.

Nabil, who has recently lost his job and savings, is without any source of income.

Similarly, Islam, despite graduating from Al-Azhar University, finds herself unemployed and facing an uncertain future in Gaza.

Aya’s education was cut short by the war and she and her family were displaced to the south of Gaza, Rafah. Aya is a brilliant, passionate, 25-year-old student who dreams of continuing her studies and achieving her professional goals. With the help of the PSSAR (Palestinian Students and Scholars at Risk) and some student volunteers at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), Aya was able to apply to universities outside Gaza and has been accepted into the PhD Physics program at UMD (see acceptance letter). Now, we need your help to get her out of Gaza and safely into Egypt.

they are in Gaza and we need your help to keep their lives from death. Every second we spend here increases the likelihood of not surviving.

Despite their reluctance to leave Gaza, I fear for their safety with each passing moment. I cannot bear the thought of losing them and living with the regret of not taking action to ensure their safety.

They left their home in Gaza and have been displaced several times under inhumane conditions. They are deprived from all the mean of a normal life and lack security and medical care.

The occupation's bombing of my family's homes has killed many of our loved ones, friends, and relatives, and we await death every minute.

We have been refusing the idea of leaving Gaza since the start of the war, but at this point, I fear losing my family and do not want to have any regrets that I could have evacuated them to safety.

In order to get them to safety, they would need to leave Gaza through the Egyptian borders - namely through the Rafah crossing point. However, in order to leave though the Rafah crossing, you are currently required to pay USD $5000 per person.
