I never thought I'd be asking strangers for help, but here I am — and I'm asking for my sons.

I'm a disabled mom raising two disabled adult sons. We were living in our RV — it wasn't fancy, but it was ours and it was home. Then our plumbing failed catastrophically. I couldn't afford the repairs. And just like that, we lost our home.

My 20-year-old is autistic. My 22-year-old has moderate cognitive disabilities — the result of chemo he endured as a toddler and young child.

I'm trying to raise $4,000 to get us back on our feet, money for Dr. co-pays, medical and dental bills (not covered due to medicaid and Medicare cuts) and a reliable vehicle.
