Help my fiancée Rebuild

I'm starting this fundraiser for someone incredibly important to me, my fiancée, Kristen. She's one of the strongest people I know, but like many strong people, she's had to carry more than her fair share of pain.

Kristen is currently recovering from a long, difficult battle with depression. This has been more than just feeling low, it's been mentally and emotionally paralyzing. There were days when even getting out of bed was a mountain to climb. This period took a serious toll on her ability to work, keep up with bills, and manage life the way she wanted to.

Her struggles didn’t begin there, though. Before we met, Kristen was in an abusive relationship, one that left deep emotional scars and also left her financially drained. She was taken advantage of in the worst ways: manipulated, gaslit, and left to deal with a mountain of debt that wasn’t even fully hers.

She’s been working hard on healing mentally, emotionally, and financially. She’s making progress, slowly but surely, but the weight of past due bills, rent, and everyday expenses are making that healing process even harder.

This GoFundMe is to help give Kristen a real chance to breathe, to recover, and to rebuild her life. The funds will go directly toward rent, utilities, overdue bills, and helping her get back to a place where she can move forward without fear hanging over her every day.
