Help My Friend in Gambia

Alex here!
As many of us continue to learn: our struggle for liberation is not limited to just the plight of our beloved Palestinian siblings. We're out here trying to figure how mutual aid and collective resourcing MUST be a part of the future life we are building.
A friend of mine, Mamadou, and I have connected in our shared grief and love for Palestinians over the past few months. Mamadou and his siblings reside in Gambia - he is a gem of a human being.
After hearing the below story from Mamadou one evening over a video call recently, this fundraiser needed to happen.
Here's Mamadou's story:
I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share a difficult situation my family is facing. My youngest sister, who is only 10 years old and currently in grade 4, is at risk of being unable to continue her education due to unpaid school fees. Our mother, who usually doesn't engage in such business has taken the initiative to try and generate some income by buying product in Gambia at lower prices to make a small profit, which she intends to put towards my sister's school fees. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, she has fallen behind on payments for 4 months, and we are now in danger of my sister being asked to leave school. The school does not offer scholarships, and with the recent passing of our father, we are struggling to make ends meet. My mother, not wanting to burden me with our financial difficulties, has kept much of this from me. If you are able to contribute towards my sister's school fees, even for just for four months it would mean the world to us.
I will be sending any funds raised to Mamadou directly via the Sendwave app.
Reach out to me with any questions or clarity.
