Help my friends save their kid

On October 1st my friends Ekaterina and Vadim received devastating news: their 16-months old son Artem was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 2. Just two months ago Artem could walk and play with other kids, but his muscles are getting weaker and he can no longer stand. This is a terminal disease: until very recently kids had very little chance to survive till the age of 3. Thanks to the newly developed gene therapy drug Zolgensma, Artem has hope now. Unfortunately, this treatment is unattainable for the majority of families due to its sky-high price of 2.3 million $. My friends decided not to give up, and to fight for the life of their little son. They have started crowdfunding in Russia. A lot of people are helping to give Artem a chance to be healthy. Unfortunately, Artem has very little time — just half a year before this treatment can be received.

I am organising this fundraiser to support my friends and to bring them at least a bit closer to their dream of seeing their son healthy. Every little bit counts, and I am certain that together we can save Artem.
