Help My Grandfather With House Repairs

This is my grandfather, Jim Woods. He's retired from a 30+ year military career in the navy and national guard. He is a selfless man who raised me like a son. I moved to California around 6 years ago while he and the rest of my family has remained home in South Carolina.  Last month, his wife of 55+ years passed away from a stroke following surgery for a blockage and he has been devastated since.



Prior to her passing, they were struggling to keep up with house repairs. Years of hurricane damage has ruined the roof of their house and the wood around the outside of their house has deteriorated. Our family is unable to fully cover the cost of all the repairs needed. He has lived in that house for over 30 years now and does not desire to move. I've included a handful of pictures of the house damages below:




We are not accustomed to asking for financial assistance, but we humbly ask if anyone feels inclined to help in any form to cover the repairs needed for his house, it would be highly appreciated.
