Help My Grandma Recover From Home Robbery

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Some formalities before I start my story, 

I made this GoFundMe for my grandma (H.M.). All donations will be deposited into her bank account. 

   My grandma is the strongest, most resilient, hardworking person I have ever met. She has never asked for help from anyone and probably never will, but right now she really needs it. She immigrated from China with no money of her own and worked three full time jobs to support her four children. The jobs she worked were for unskilled laborers, sewing zippers and collars, and paid next to nothing. Over the last 40+ years she has saved her money for her healthcare and retirement. However, this morning she was assaulted and robbed of everything of value in her home, including her life savings and jewelry.

This was clearly a premeditated attack. The three men coordinated the robbery so that my grandma was alone in the house. One man approached the front door in a yellow vest and rang the doorbell, claiming that he was from PG&E. My grandma, smart lady she is, ignored him and went to the backyard to garden. While this was happening, the other two men entered the backyard by hopping a fence and broke in through the back. They overpowered her, dragging her back inside the house when she tried to run for help, and proceeded to ransack the house. When she yelled for help they silenced her by using force, choking her around the neck and hitting her in the face, leaving a busted lip.

Today I saw my grandma traumatized, shaking like a leaf, spirit broken. The cruelty of people is beyond me. The fact that someone would choose to target the elderly burns me up from the inside out.

My grandma has diabetes, she’s 70 years old, and has upcoming medical bills she has to pay and no way to pay them. She has never asked anyone for anything so I’m asking for her. Please, if you can donate or reshare this link, my entire family thanks you. Stay safe, check in on your loved ones.
