Help My Grandparents After Tornado Devastation

Hi everyone,

A tornado has hit my grandma's town (Rome, NY) and unfortunately her home ended up directly in its path. The tornado has destroyed the entire front porch of the home leading to the loss of personal items such as statues, chairs, patio furniture, etc. the gazebo out back that was built by my grandpa Derrick roughly only a month ago was demolished into pieces that cannot be rebuilt.

Other damages include windows being broken, the roof being removed from the house itself, water damage inside from the removal of the roof, lawn damage, as well as exterior damage due to the debris.

My grandparents do not have home insurance at the moment due to the home not being completely remodeled. They have only been in the home for roughly a year or so after moving across the country from Colorado to be in their hometown with family. My grandparents have housed and helped many family members and friends. We are hoping to repay that kindness by spreading the word of the damage and raising funds and awareness so that they can get the help that they deserve.
