Help My Husband Get Home to His Family

Hi, my name is Morgan Daniel. My husband Dave suffered a traumatic brain injury on Oct 29, 2021. This accident happened the day before our daughter turned 4 months old. He was on life support for 2 1/2 weeks, and contracted covid and two bacterial infections while still on the ventilator. Even though he is still in ICU, we have already seen God's healing hand at work as the infections have cleared! His doctors are very pleased with his progress so far. We are thrilled that they feel he is a strong candidate for intensive, long term rehabilitation and they have recommended two rehabilitative hospitals. However, neither is local, and a large portion will not be covered by our insurance. We are in the process of applying to one of those presently. There are also transportation costs and a substantial deductible to meet. Dave will be out of work for many months, possibly a year. He recognizes his family and tells us he loves us. He needs to begin rehab right away. We have great hope for him coming home to me and our daughter Lilly. Any help you feel led to offer we will be so thankful for. Most, we appreciate your prayers for Dave and our family during this trying time.

Update as of 1/13/22: Dave has made truly miraculous progress in rehab! He will be home from Atlanta tomorrow night. With continuing outpatient therapy, he should be able to drive and begin working again within a few months.  He is very excited to get home and get started and be part of his family again. This is the power of God at work through your prayers! Thank you so much for investing in us. Every step of the way, we have been blessed. We are still working through the financial aspects of all this, but your help has been making all the difference. We appreciate you all so much and pray for you, as you are praying for us.
