In laws moving costs back to Spain

My father-in-law was detained by ICE Thursday March 20th. He is legally in the US with a working permit, no criminal record in the US, has a business, pays taxes, his wife is a US citizen and he was detained by the FBI and taken to an ICE detention center.

We didn’t hear from him for 24 hours and when we did, he expressed the inhumane conditions that he was living under. In a room that was meant for about 25 people there was around 100. He wasn’t able to take a shower for four days and was sleeping next to the toilet. A bathroom that was not clean. There was no beds people were sleeping on the floor.

He was then transferred to another facility in Pompano, FL for 2 days before taken in the middle of the night to a High security prison in New Mexico where he has been locked in a cell for a week without getting any sunlight. They get very little food, they don't leave their cells, he has been really sick and has not received medical attention.

We hired a lawyer and tried to get him bail but unfortunately everything with them takes very long and communication is not good at all.

My father in law made the really hard decision to sign a paper agreeing to leave the country. After being here for 10 years and building a life with his family. He mentally doesn't feel like he can stay locked up for months and just wants to be a FREE man. We are praying that because he is choosing to voluntarily leave he gets out sooner.

My mother-in-law is now having to leave her life behind to start over in Spain with her husband. I created this to help them. They are 60 + and need all the help possible to have a good start.

This money is going to go to their flights back to spain which are going to cost over 2k, plus their bags and few things they can take with them. It will allow them to find a place in Spain to live, and have at least 2 months to figure it out work wise.
