Help my mom after she lost everything in a fire

On March 18, a fire broke out in the apartment building where my mom lives. It's a historical building in the city centre of Delft, a small rental home that felt like a palace to us, with the most beautiful view in the world. Luckily she and her neighbors were able to leave on time, only the person living in the house where the fire started ended up in the hospital due to smoke inhalation.

My mom quickly grabbed her bag as she was warned by her neighbor to evacuate. Within a short span of time her house was destroyed, by the flames (the picture shows flames coming out of the room where she kept all her clothes), smoke, the enormous amount of water, and asbestos that came down from the ceiling. Her bag is now all she has left.

Most of all we are grateful that she is unharmed.

But at the same time we feel sad about the loss of her house itself, and the few sentimental items that can not be replaced.

Currently there are still many unknowns, but due to the damages to her house, it is very likely that she will never be able to return. There is still the threat that part of her house will collapse, the street remains closed off.

She is in a hotel now, and the housing agency is trying to find a new home for her.

My mother is a strong and positive woman, who deserves to have a care-free fresh start. As she lives alone she has to take care of everything by herself (of course we help her as much as we can). She does have an insurance, so most of the basic costs are taken care of. Nevertheless, what the insurance can give her, is not enough to replace everything she had. We don't want to see her struggling financially. She is retired and obviously can not spend thousands and thousands of Euros to get back on her feet.
