Help My Mom and I Recover after Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
Today, my mother and I experienced an unimaginable loss. The Southern California wildfires destroyed our family’s beloved home, the place that held three generations of memories, resilience, and love.
This was more than a house—it was a cornerstone of our family’s story. My grandmother, a brave and determined woman, moved to California in the 1950s from the segregated South, seeking a better life. She laid the foundation for our family’s future, and her sacrifices gave us a safe and loving space to grow and thrive.
Our Loss
In just a matter of hours, we lost everything. The home that witnessed countless milestones and family traditions is now gone. It’s hard to describe the heartbreak of losing not just belongings but the memories and legacy tied to them.
Why We’re Reaching Out
We’re turning to our community for support to help us recover and begin the process of creating a new sense of stability. Your contributions will help us address immediate needs and navigate the long road ahead as we adapt and move forward.
How You Can Help

The Road Ahead
Although this loss has been devastating, our family is rooted in resilience and love. With your kindness and generosity, we will find the strength to move forward and honor the legacy of the home that shaped who we are.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. Your support means more than we could ever express.
With love and gratitude,
