Help my mom beat cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ayan Hassan and I am 21 years old. I am from Ottawa Ontario, Canada. I am one of four kids whose mother is currently battling for her life. My mother is currently going through her 4th stage of pancreatic cancer. The cancer spread and got to her lungs. She is 48 years old and is the strong single mother of my siblings and I.
My mom greatly appreciates the donations she’s received so far! However, the medication she's been taking has stopped working and whenever she eats-which is so little- she vomits 90 percent of the time. It is very traumatizing seeing my mom be incapable of eating healthily and getting thinner and thinner each month.
On this page I have a document showing proof of my mom’s cancer tumor and I have an image of the average cost of getting surgery in Germany. Pancreatic cancer is the most dangerous and aggressive cancer, and it's also the hardest one to treat. The only treatment available for her in Canada is chemotherapy and her doctors told my mom she would only have approximately a year to live after doing so. I’ve heard a lot of survivor stories of Cancer patients -specifically pancreatic- getting surgery and it being successful.
I believe this is the only thing that can save her but she is a single unemployed mother and it is around $100,000. I know it seems unrealistic but I would do anything that could possibly give her hope and a chance. She deserves to live. Getting help for something you cannot control should not be this expensive but it is. Any donation is appreciated. Please share this as much as you can. Thank you.
