The surgery went well but we are now onto the long and intense recovery process. It’s going to be awhile before she is completely back to normal, but we’re grateful that the surgery went on without any issues. Thank you to everyone who has donated or shared our story. Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, but also with so much hope. My name is Morgan, and I never imagined I’d be creating a GoFundMe for my mom — yet here we are. I’m hoping this message reaches some kind, compassionate hearts willing to lift us up in this difficult time.

A few days ago, my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Even as I type those words, it still doesn’t feel real. The size of the tumor and the symptoms it’s already causing have made it clear that surgery can’t wait. She’s scheduled for an operation that will require a hospital stay of at least 3–4 days, followed by a recovery period at home lasting 4–6 weeks, if not longer. As the primary caregiver and sole income provider in our household, this news has turned our entire world upside down.

My mom is truly the strongest person I know. She’s been a single parent my whole life — always doing whatever it took to make sure my brother and I were taken care of, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs along the way. She’s worked hard, loved harder, and never asked for anything in return. Now, it’s her turn to be surrounded by the kind of love and support she’s so freely given to others.

Unfortunately, with no income coming in during her recovery, we’re facing mounting medical bills along with everyday expenses like rent, groceries, utilities, and transportation to and from her medical appointments. I’m doing everything I can to help, but we simply can’t do this on our own.

Medical costs and treatments

Prescriptions and follow-up appointments

Monthly household expenses (rent, utilities, groceries)

Transportation to and from medical visits
