Help my Mom heal from an amputation

Hey everybody, I am (her daughter) writing this for my Mom (Sandra) who is 55 and recently had her lower leg amputated from a nasty infection of gangrene. My brother and I take the best care of her. She has filed for disability & better insurance for more coverage, but of course they take their time. Up to 24 months. It’s been a month since the amputation. Haven’t heard anything from neither disability or the insurance. She has lost her apartment and is having to live with us for the time being, she has no income coming in to live on her own. Until disability reaches back out to her, may not be for another 2 years. She needs a prosthetic leg as soon as she is done healing completely. Hopefully she will have better insurance by then or disability. For now she needs a lot of help, We are struggling tremendously to get her to her Drs appointments/check ups that cost money here and there, also medical supplies she needs desperately. I don’t know what else to do or go. It will be such a blessing if my mom can get anything from this! It will help pay for her Drs appointments & Meds. Also supplies she needs to get around and help pay some of her bills. Anything will help and will be a blessing! She will be forever grateful and blessed. God bless, everyone !
