Help My Mom in her battle of Cancer

Hello everyone, my name is Sara, with her permission to post on her behalf, my mom Cindy Day was diagnosed with a stage 4 rare and aggressive form of nasal cancer, after already going through chemo treatments unfortunately doctors came to the conclusion that she isn't responding to the treatment as well as they thought she would, this has left a lot of what's next, unknowns and where do we go from here, she's potentially facing either more chemo with added radiation or a major and complex surgery that will take place a couple hours from our home and a hospital stay, her doctors are in Tampa to ensure the best care due to them having the most knowledge on this specific form of cancer, that being said she unfortunately had to leave her job at subway where she worked devotedly for 25 years due to being sick, trips to Tampa, co-pays for doctors appointments and imaging as well as cost for medicine have added up quickly, with her prognosis changing treatment will become more aggressive fast and our goal is to get what we can together for her to help with not only medical bills but bills at home too and provide a cushion so that her loving husband of almost 30 years can take off of work to be by her side through this as she will need him as well as my brothers and I able to assist to her whenever needed as it will take all hands on deck, my mom is a strong and fierce individual, she has been through alot and has never given up, she is a wonderful very sweet involved mother and grandmother, her grandkids love her as a best friend, she deserves the help, she has faith beyond measure and she is fighting for her life like no other, anything will help and we can use all the support love and prayers we can get during this time as well, thank you for your time.

After a very careful consideration her tumor board decided since this form of cancer is very aggressive and she hasn't responded the way they had hoped they are going to do the surgery followed by more treatment.. we will know in the next 7-10 days the date of the surgery, time and place etc. she also has an appointment for a consultation on radiation..

Although nerves are high knowing she will be having surgery and soon, we are content something is being done, thank you so much for your donations, shares, love and prayers! I will continue to update this and if you haven't please share! Thank you!

10 minutes After her oncology appointment today in tampa she got two phone calls back to back, she is having surgery on her throat/neck due to it spreading to lymph nodes this coming Friday and surgery on her nasal cavity the following Tuesday.. this will be followed by chemo once a week and radiation everyday Monday-friday for 7 weeks in hopes to remove it and keep it gone.. keep her in your thoughts and prayers please, as this starts to intensify fast all the prayers, well wishes, love, support, donations and shares, anything and everything is beyond GREATLY appreciated thank you!
