Help My Mom, Lola, Fix Her Plumbing Amid Her Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Tabitha, and I’m reaching out for help for my incredible mom, Lola. Despite facing unimaginable challenges over the past couple of years, she continues to push forward with remarkable resilience.
In October 2024, my mom, Lola was diagnosed with stage 4, grade 3 endometrial cancer with carcinomatosis, along with significant lung disease and a gallbladder mass. Despite this devastating diagnosis, she refuses to slow down, often working over 40 hours a week. Since December, she has been undergoing chemotherapy every three weeks. While her treatment affects her ability to work during those weeks, she remains active, dedicated, and strong.
Now, she’s facing another urgent challenge—her home’s plumbing is failing. Her sink, washer, and shower have been backing up, creating an unsanitary situation, which is especially dangerous given her health. She hired a plumber and paid $500 upfront, only for them to take her money and never show up. Now, she’s left with no plumbing fix and an even greater financial burden.
In April, she will undergo surgery that we know will put her out of work for at least a month. It is crucial for her health that the plumbing is repaired before this time. My sister and I will be able to take care of her and cover her finances during her recovery.
I’m asking for any support you can give to help her repair her plumbing and provide her with a safe, clean home. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this with others.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
